CO-OP Carparks

I noticed today in the CO-OP supermarket in Southwell that the CEL signs have all been removed to be replaced by those from Horizon Parking :-

I hope that the CO-OP have learned their lesson over the CEL fiasco and have insisted on a "do not prosecute our customers" clause in the contract. Otherwise it will all end in tears again.

It will probably end in tears, Horizon have close associations with Town and City/SmartYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
The morons that run Co-op will now deserve everything that comes their way. They've seen the way PPCs work and now get into bed with another one.0

As far as do not prosecute our customers, I'm guessing they may also want to add Do not prosecute our staff.
And as far as horozon vs cel its just one set of crooks swapping places with another. From the Plain Language Commission:

This Southwell car park does not need to be managed. Nearby there are a couple of council car parks which offer up to two hours free parking, with reasonable rates after that. The town is not on the railway, so any commutators drive the six miles into Newark to catch a train.
So once again a non-existent "problem" that's been gobbled up by a PPC .What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
The Co-op sent me this email in response to a complaint about their car parking "arrangements" :-
" Dear Mr .....
Ursula Lidbetter, Group Chair, has asked me to respond to your emails on her behalf
The Group obviously operates a substantial number of properties – some with car parking facilities which require there to be controls in operation. Our solutions to this vary depending on a range of factors. As Chair of the Group Board Ursula is not directly involved in operational issues such as this, though has asked me to forward your comments to the team responsible
Kind regards0 -
Will the co-op ever realise that PPCs are only in the scam game to make as much cash as they can.PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0
