Parking Ticket and covered signage

Hi I am currently fighting a parking ticket I got in a car park from my local council.


I was parked in a small area away from the main signage and the only sing covering this area as pay and display had been left to get covered and moss.

I received a ticket and have sent the images for the challenge and they stated on the on-line system although I could view the images they couldn't. I then got email rejection of the challenge on that basis they couldn't view the images which runs out 14 day on 2/2/15.

I email all the images to them within 15 mins of getting the email and today received a letter stating that the main sign behind the by the machine is ok and they accept they have not maintained the sign covering the small area I parked.

I stated the traffic regulation order notes stating all signage must be clear and maintained.


Am i right saying that this repeater pay and display sign the only viewable sign should be maintained.

Best take this over to the Pepipoo Forum as they are the experts on council tickets.

However, that sign is a cracker - it would IMO work in your favour at PATAS. I've had tickets canceled before that were less illegible!
