    Some odd choices there. I mean, I've room for field maple, but it wouldn't be in my top ten for garden-worthy trees. Ugly beggar! :(

    Forsythia is what we used to call "the Bog Brush Bush" owing to the fact that whatever we did with it, it always ended up like that. I know it flowers early and goes with daffs, but one then has to put up with it for the rest of the year, like the maple.

    Bird cherry grows huge, so it's either pay the tree surgeon every few years in the average garden, or just have him/her in for euthanasia.......:rotfl: At least it makes very good firewood. :D
