What's eating my Passionflower?

Plant a lovely passion flower earlier this year and it has grown and grown, but since this rain came on something has been munching away and i can't see any signs of what it is.
I first thought it was slugs or snails because of the weather but it seems more like "munches" on the leaves so I'm thinking caterpilla?
What ever they are they've completely stripped the first foot and a bit of the plant  and I'm worried it will die off if i dont stop it.

Any ideas on what it could be or how to stop it??

The same thing happened to mine last year, I'm afraid I can't help with what is causing it as I never did find out what had been munching mine. However, what I did was to cut it right back and bring it indoors. It has taken a year to recover, but it's getting there now.

I'm afraid there are many pests that chop through Passion Flowers. Get stuck in and have a good close look for the culprit! Look here for some guidance:
