Hi,
I have switched my main account from co-op to Halifax, I stupidly forgot a payment was due to come out last week Wednesday and got a £15 charge for my bone idleness.
I have since switched my account and it's due to switch over on 29th jan. Co-op have told me that the charge will not go out until 21st feb. Will this automatically come out of my new account?

No, Co-op will deduct the charge value (and any accrued interest if applicable) from your account on the switch date (so Halifax will get £15 less).*Will this automatically come out of my new account?
Suggest you ensure the appropriate cleared funds are available.
* I've not switched a Co-op account, but the above is from the "we've received a request to switch your account to xyz bank" letters both BoS and Lloyds sent me (word for word the same), so I assume they all operate the same way.0 -
