One assumes that you sent it from Outlaw in the first place? Mind you my real knowledge of Outlaw is about 12 years old, but assuming it is a real imap account, and it appears so since TB finds it I would need to see your outlook settings, and there's no guarantee that I could remember which is the correct one.....

As an aside tell the daughter that TB has not been around as long as outlaw, but it has always been better, and your taste in clothes,make-up etc doesn't have to mirror hers.

I think there's a setting in Outlook to not put emails you send in the Outbox. For example, if you reply to a message in a folder it'll put the reply in the same folder.

Don't know where the setting is on 2010.

Outlook is miles better than Thunderbird except for one thing: no unified inbox for multiple accounts. It's what keeps me putting up with Thunderbird's bugs and terrible user experience even though I own Outlook 2013.
