Civil enforcement ltd PCN

hi, I received a PCN for Civil enforcement ltd today.
They state that we exceeded the 4 hour parking time at our local shopping centre by 2.5 hours. Now for A start I know I wasn't at the car park on the day they stated, plus even if I had been I would remember being there for 6.5 hours. The shopping centre just isn't big enough to be there that long. So I firmly believe there has been a mess up with there system. Further to this on the PCN it states the incident date was 21/12/14 and the PCN was issued on the 14/01/15 but I only received the PCN today 23/1/15. Surly this can't be right, it's been over a month since the alleged incident.

Any advice on how to make this go away?

Thanks

yep, read the NEWBIES sticky thread several times and then appeal it

if no windscreen ticket was issued then they have 14 days to get a postal NTK to you, but if a windscreen ticket was issued they have to issue the NTK within the period day 29 to day 56 , so they appear to have done the latter, hence why its "over a month"

but from the issue date its not a windscreen one so had to arrive by day 15 , so not one month later

send the template letter and also tell them that POFA 2012 does not apply since the NTK arrived too late

DO NOT REVEAL OR IMPLY WHO WAS DRIVING , just appeal it as keeper
  • Should I mention the fact that I wasn't even there on that day, or just stick to the template? Cheers

Iv read that I should just ignore these "scam" letters, please help!!
Yet you post on someone else's thread where the action is completely contrary to what you claim. Now slow down, read even the thread you've posted on where it talks about reading the NEWBIES sticky thread. And then start YOUR OWN thread with any further questions, rather than hijacking someone else's.

It's not so much the hijack of someone else's thread, which is forgiveable once pointed in the right direction. It's more that it seems you didn't even read the thread you did post on, else you would not be asking what you did. Hence my bluntness.

Yet you clearly confirmed that you had read and understood the basic posting guide as part of your signup, it covers all this and a few other useful things like reading stickies.

Please go and read it now - there is a link at the top of every forum page - that way you will be able to answer many questions for yourself.
