I was burgled on holiday in Cyprus last September, claim still be sorted out by this company, absolutely awful, has anybody else experience of them ?

What is the actual cause of the delay?

Part of the problem can be dealing with the people, eg police, in foreign countries. Not all are as speedy/ efficient (use the term loosely) as their equivalents here.

I have dealt with them and found them to be better than expected, if not a little slow.

We were due to Greece last year and my daughter became ill the week before we were due to fly and ended up in hospital so we had to cancel the holiday. I contacted them straightaway and they sent me some forms to fill in. I then had to wait for my cancellation documents from the hotel / airline etc and sent them all off along with the forms.

I sent them early June and finally got payment at the end of August. I did have to make a couple of calls to chase the payment up but they did pay out everything that was owed and were always polite when I called.

Mine was pretty straightforward once I had all the correct paperwork. Have you sent them all your police reports / claim ref etc? And did you report it to the travel insurance at the time of it happening?

If so, then I am sure they are just waiting on responses from overseas and will get it sorted as soon as they can.
