I Need An Employment Lawyer Urgently Please!

Hi all,

Can someone please recommend a good employment lawyer to me please?

One with experience dealing with Local Authority wrongful dismissal cases. Preferably in London.

Apart from the CAB where else can I get free advice please?

Have you got legal cover on your house insurance? If so give them a call (providing you are not a union member).

Keep in mind that, at the first level, the ACAS helpline is just a call centre staffed by unqualified people with limited training.

Under some circumstances the CAB can pass you on to a solicitor. AS TA says, check if any cover is provided by your home insurance (it often is).

I recently rang ACAs regarding an employment contract problem, the advice was terrible and completely wrong.
I employed a good Lawyer in Northampton who is sorting the issues out,with completely different advice to i got from ACAS

No, I'm not in the Union. I was but they've hardly been of any help to myself or collegues in the past so we've all left.
