Hi all,
Can someone please recommend a good employment lawyer to me please?
One with experience dealing with Local Authority wrongful dismissal cases. Preferably in London.
Apart from the CAB where else can I get free advice please?
Thank you.

not sure the best advice is to get a recommendation from a forum.
Have you got legal cover on your house insurance? If so give them a call (providing you are not a union member).Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
Call ACAS0

Well that won't find you a lawyer!
Keep in mind that, at the first level, the ACAS helpline is just a call centre staffed by unqualified people with limited training.
Under some circumstances the CAB can pass you on to a solicitor. AS TA says, check if any cover is provided by your home insurance (it often is).0 -
Thank you for your responses.
I don't have home insurance. I rent.
I need an experienced rmployment lawyer; I'll try the CAB. Thank you.0 -
I recently rang ACAs regarding an employment contract problem, the advice was terrible and completely wrong.
I employed a good Lawyer in Northampton who is sorting the issues out, with completely different advice to i got from ACAS0 -
OP, in the absence of anyone who fits your fairly tight criteria for answering your question, I'd recommend you use google. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Are you in the union?0
-
No, I'm not in the Union. I was but they've hardly been of any help to myself or collegues in the past so we've all left.0

Hope you've got a lot of money, lawyers don't come cheap.0
