Hi im abit confused yesterday i checked our available balance there was £47 this morning i check it and its £397 but i couldnt see anything that had been paid in. I spoke to the bank and they say its correct but ive noticed some transactions from the weekend still have not shown up on my statement.
Anyone have any idea on why it would go up and if it will suddenly go back down again as i dont want to spend the money if its going to be taken out!
Thanks

I don't know the answer, but generally you can't rely on the available balance and have to calculate/estimate it yourself.
Retailers have up to 3 (6?) months to take the authorised amount from your account, and the available balance may not reflect this.0 -

Well first ask yourself, Are you expecting money to be deposited???
Did you make card payments over the weekend that add up to the available balance??
If not just be careful because it might get recalled from wherever it came from.0 -
A couple of years ago, my Natwest available balance went up by £1000! Turned out that they had increased my authorised overdraft limit WITHOUT consulting me -even tho' I haven't been into my overdraft for ~ 30 years !!!:rotfl:0
