Live music restaurants

HI

We are staying in the Dakota Nottingham hotel on valentines night, just a night away from the hectic life.

They called me the other day offering a meal for 2 for £89 which includes entertainment.

Im really after anyone who knows of any restaurants in the area of the hotel or Nottingham that offer a romantic meal with entertainmnt such as a live piano player while you eat?

Anything would be appreciated

Cheers

  • Hey

I'm broadening my horizons so any places people know off that are serving on Valentine's with a piano player preferably in the eastern region

I don't understand, are you after somewhere instead of the hotel?

There's nothing nearby, you'd have to get a cab or drive into Nottingham, I'd go with the hotel offer if I were you.

I think the hotel offer is massively overpriced!!!!! I wouldn't pay that in a month of Sundays. In fact I wouldn't even charge that and I set these prices in my role AND I know Nottinghamshire well.

go into Nottingham and Browns springs to mind for nice food and piano music. Otherwise just Google for local pubs which will all have special deals.
  • There really isn't an awful lot in the area. There is a decent pub around the corner called The Badger Box but it's far from romantic and is just traditional pub grub.

There is a place called Eastwood Hall that's not too far. You could drive it in 10 minutes. They have a restaurant which may fit the bill more.

Eastwood in general has very little though. Same again for Annesley (the area around Dakota) and Hucknall.

The countryman pub is supposed to be nice in Kirkby in Ashfield but the area...

You may be better off at the Dakota or grabbing a taxi into the city centre (probably £20-30 each way). Local bus is relatively quick, about 30 mins and would save you a packet.

If you do go into Nottingham, I'd recommend Chino Latino for a unique night out.
