I feel quite humbled.
Much of my day was spent sorting out the practical stuff. We :are in a logistical nightmare!
My daughter has really come in to her own today and insisted on spending several hours with her Dad and apparently gave him both barrels (don't know where she gets it from  )
I went in and updated on news about the kids, general chit chat and no eye contactnothing. I'm 45 years old and have known him for 40 of those years and he couldn't even look at me.
I'm still here and will be back tomorrow. I will make him look at me and I will speak to him and I will make him aware of the damage he's doing to our kids.
He planned it. I had phonecall from DS1 earlier tonight who had looked in the freezers and saw all the planned meals. He knows I can't cookHe cooked loads and loads of meals knowing he wouldnt be here.
if I haven't thanked you I'm sorryI haven't had the time to catch up properly.
I will say though TS and LFAB can fight over the short fat Scottish one all they wantI do belive I got there first
:shhh: I'm only after his [STRIKE]6 pack[/STRIKE] 8 packs.
Glad you manage a little smile the end of a very long day. :A0 -
Just realised I can't count to 3.
Thought it was time to check my APG, got about another hour yet though.
Might have to set an alarm and do it early hours after bit of sleep.0 -
Going to say Goodnight FC. Hope you manage some sleep. :A0

FC....you're having a really tough time and I'm sorry for that. You are one strong lady and by the sounds of things you've taught your dd in the same way. Good that you have that support. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that eventually things will improve.0 -

It has been a long day. But you have to smile or you might wither and die.
I'm sharing a bed with DD tonight. She has said in. no uncertain terms that we should sleep apart:rotfl::rotfl:
My prediction is we will wake up welded together. She has forgotten the long nights I spent cuddling her up in bed as a toddler because she was a bad sleeper.

Right, I've checked my receipt and it's all good. Items that compared before vs Morries still comparing and item which did not still not; at least I managed the right size of banana! That penny cheaper comp. again:rotfl:.
Otherwise, I don't quite know what to say, but that's not unusual:).
Just thinking what have I got to do later today, proper today? Check the Cheap Energy Club apparently and switch to the 'cheapest' tariff. I already have a switch in progress and not letting me switch again:(. However... it turns out the 'cheaper than the cheapest' collective switch is, for me, about £10 a year dearer than what I've switched to. There is another deal I could switch to, which is very slightly cheaper than my now current deal. I think I might check again in another month, or couple of weeks:cool:, and see if I can switch again then (and pick up another £30 CB:D). I could do with lengthening the end of the deal by another month for other reasons anyway.
So, receipt checked, and, as I don't have to have two things on the go now:eek:, I can now get to the Morries updating (zzz...:rotfl:, boring, Savvy). There weren't any Classic Bouquets in my first store earlier, but I found them in the second store:cool:. I was considering removing the alleged A item from the list anyway - it's just my legendary sixth sense that it may compare:cool: (which probably means it won't:rotfl:). I think I'll combine that section with the Fruit & Vegetables section and see if it confuses people:rotfl:: from a few days ago, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-31176748.
And, months after this M price appeared on msm, I now finally find this item in a store I've checked! At last Savvy...:D
Yutaka Sushi Bamboo Rolling Mat
£1.28 £1.28 / Pack
69p
However it's in a store that I don't/can't visit that often so will have to rely on msm from here on in:(. I think the problem with the M list is that there are now just too many items on it to check each time:eek::rotfl::rotfl:. I don't how I manage it, but I do:D!
I'll/we'll see what comes out of the information I'm going through now - is anyone obliging on the 1Kg Crunchy Nut Cornflakes that have 1000 points offer? Mr T?
Sadly not at the moment:(, keep it in view.0 -
Those RTC items in M, namely those tins and jars, I think the trick is comparing to them at the exact right time. Also trying to work out the point at which they have been cleared and gone OOS from M. And, even then, how can we ever be sure that there is not one single unit of stock remaining at some M somewhere?
I removed the Sweet Piccalilli on Monday, as it appeared to have gone (it has never been known to compare vs M at 15p anyway). However, yesterday, I found it in one store with 15p SEL. And, yes, there was stock of the Sweet Piccalilli, not just the "plain" Piccalilli. Sadly the next store I checked also had stock there - but with a SEL of 59p:mad:. Of course it's possible the APG could pick up a set of stores with 15p showing in them, but then anything's possible - and I think unlikely.
I seem to have one store this time where all the 'good' (lower priced) items have no SELs at all. I only found Savers tinned ham in that store now. Although the tins have 99p printed on them, there was no SEL. I therefore conclude that means it's still 39p. I think this must surely now be more risky on T PP, if it has ever even compared to 39p before (of which I have never seen).
Onto the second store, I was walking round with my 'query' list and just ticking the items off as I found them. Or ticking items where there was no stock, but SELs were there:D! That does not matter, on the basis that some M, somewhere, may have stock. Then I started looking around - and found more items that the first store didn't tell me about!
There were still a few items outstanding even after that. Fortunately, one of the smallest stores turned out, bizarrely, to have stock of every one of them, so I managed to complete the list there!
Lack of SELs must surely, in my view, make things risky (for T PP more in this case, on the items involved). If I'm finding no SEL in any store, despite products being there, it looks like HQ haven't produced and distributed any SELs. I think what may be needed is someone who has the ability to try things, perhaps with a voucher spend involved, that isn't concerned with whether they get much back from that, to try a number of the items on Tvs M and see what TPP actually picks up. There are some potential real good differences there, if only we knew whether or not specific ones worked.
My suggestion is this:
T Eday Value Carrots (1Kg)53p 45p
Danfood Onion Salad Crispies (100g)£1.39 69p
Tesco Rigatoni (500g)89p 39p
T Eday Value Ham (200g)99p 39p
Patak's Plain Ready to Eat Pappadums (8)£1.00 50p
Colman's Sweet Chilli Mango Sauce (250ml)£1.69 50p (did not work last weekend)
Tesco Basil Infused Olive Oil (250ml)£2.00 50p
Magnum Pistachio (3x110ml)£2.50 99p
Tesco Blue Detectable Plasters (40)85p 50p
Tesco Double Edge Blades (10)£2.00 75p
And, then, if all of that comes back N/A, complain to T if you lose out as it's totally wrong! Mr M - are you watching? http://www.morrisons-corporate.com/media-centre/Corporate-news/Morrisons-complains-about-misleading-Tesco-Price-Promise/ (This from a couple of years ago.)
Should deliver a T PP of £8.18, although the last item (the Double Blades) may now be justifiably N/A as there may be no stock. I did see them on Monday though, with 75p. The Magnum Pistachio is also a tricky one. In fact, let's just say the whole lot!:rotfl:
I think the suggestion was that T PP often missed fresh veg. items. I know some of the loose onions returned N/A the other week.
We ought to do our own 'bit of fun' price bingo, and try to guess what amount T PP would give on the above shop:rotfl:.0 -
I guess I need to weigh the "Large" Mangoes in A (75p) next time, to see if the APG collectors do their job. M's Mango (I find it to be approx. 380g) is 69p. An A Mango probably can't do much harm on an APG vs M shop:eek:.
Btw, I don't think M could collect Aldi/Lidl prices completely either - even in the unknown stores that they collect from and that we don't know what promotions, if any, were showing in those stores on the date of the collection (which we also don't know).0 -
Why is the Frijj Cookie Dough Milkshake showing Frijj Cookie Dough Milkshake for A on msm, but Frijj Limited Edition Milkshake for T and M? What does the purchase of Frijj Cookie Dough Milkshake actually come up as?
There are five flavours of 471ml Frijj now 50p in M. Maybe hang fire - more favourable pricing in A may come on later. Doesn't seem much use of the Cookie Dough at the moment, as not on mbuy in A.
As regards current comparison (once the imminent price collection information is updated) of straight £1.30 vs straight 50p, the fact the M prices are collected from instore might be a good thing. It may mean that, fortunately, the Cookie Dough Milkshake would compare £1.30 vs 50p when, if msm.co.uk was relevant, it would not compare vs M because the Cookie Dough Milkshake for A has M N/A. On msm, they are two different products.0 -
Someone had a womble showing the frozen S/P Cooked Peeled Prawns (200g) comparing £2.20 A vs £1.50 M. That is correct - however, as from Wednesday I've changed my mind about £1.50 for 200g being good, due to there now being some M Hot & Spicy Prawns (100g) at 50p in M. Admittedly, they are a frozen breaded meal (I think:o) but I'll ignore that fact! There appears to be no equivalent in A or T. As usual, don't make a special trip to M, as this won't be available in all M stores.
I've noticed the Harrington's Optimum Rabbit Food is back on offer at £2 in M, apparently until March. However, why would you, given that they were comparing vs £1 each in error on the APG previously? I doubt that error will be present again.0
