I went on a cruise with Cunard and it was mostly oldies until we got to

Aussie and New Zealand then lots of younger couples say in their 40's

age group and the oldies treat Cunard as if they were visiting a much

loved and missed family friend .. I suspect lots of them were old with

no family alive ...and loved the attention that the crew gave them

and over 24 died during the cruise I can't remember exactly as I

stopped counting after 24 We turned ship round and back to ports to

drop off seriously ill and helicopters and small boats came to take

people off the boat to shore but it is very posh on a night or very

casual which ever way you choose to dine depicts the dress code

I personally loved the old world elegance and standards they had on

board but prices were shocking for hair dressers and such like on

    board

24? Flipping heck, thats a lot, I'd be worried about making it off in one piece! :rotfl:

I do think it looks very elegant, quite fancy one of the transatlantics that they often reduce where you get a couple of nights in New York before flying home.

I think certain cruise lines appeal to certain age groups eg royal Caribbean tend to be more younger families.
We went on a last minite Fred Olsen one to France in October - you would have thought with it being just a week there would be a good age range including working age people. I think the average age was in the high eighties - never been anywhere with so many oldies.
Mind you we had a drinks package so that helped :)

Did you just spend the whole cruise piddled? :rotfl::rotfl::beer:

I've only every cruised Disney Cruise Line, but would love to try out some others. Inlaws did the now defunct Ocean Village with their tesco vouchers, and have also done Norwegian, MSC and Thompson. They are tighter than a tight thing though, and don't spend a single penny onboard, just drink water/hot drinks etc.

Nope, give someone who would appreciate the dark choccies, as I can't think of anyone I would give them to. Thank you though, is really kind of you to share any (especially as I am now being such a ungrateful so and so in regards to the one dark ones! :rotfl:).

I'll keep you posted on the job - was very traumatic, she had to do a multiple choice paper (42 questions), a maths test (that was the traumatic bit for her!), and a comprehension test! You wouldn't think it was so in depth! :D

Good Evening tweets at least I did remember about the comp bit so my memory is not too bad;)but I didn't realise it was next tuesday for the reveal.Had a wasted trip to T's as Valentine meal does not start till tomorrow after trawling the shop for 10 mins asked the Manager and he told me must have misread the day on line.Popped into BHS and got a beautiful Crystal lamp reduced from £100 to £29:T for my spare bedroom that I am decorating .

    Good Evening Nannylala :)

Cant reveal til next Tuesday don't want negative posts I will be a bag nerves as it is :)

Pity no one on the elite realised and could have warned you about Valentine deal. I only shop clothes online at Marks. ;)

Well done on the Crystal lamp. :T:T

I plan to empty kitchen cupboards next week while I am off and store in Jamie's room . Will keep some stuff in kitchen I will use but I have decided sorting while off is easier than doing it after work or mums at weekend. Council did say they would gave 2 weeks starting notice but I know the council it could be 2 days :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
