Further to my post the other day about insurance companies putting up premiums for changes to vehicle like colour. I called Swinton yesterday to follow up on the price given for OH's van on the Go Compare site. It was £11.24 per month. So I called to put it in place and went through the form with the chap and there was only one slight error ( one line missing from the address- oh lives in a rented cottage behind his landlords house and only the landlords address shows on postcode searches so another line saying Granny Annexe had to be inserted) and after he had corrected it the price went to £25.48 per month. I said no thanks went back to Go Compare and got a better deal with protected NCB, key and lock cover, replacement vehicle for £12.24 with Sabre. These companies are a joke!

I know on cruises you can opt for a cabin share and you get to correspond with room mate before hand plus if spare cabins they will then split you up. Not my idea of fun but when I was on ship it worked well especially on round the world cruises I use to host singles dinners where you moved table for each course. Such fun..

I don't mind getting a single s holiday club going. Be a very mse thing to do really.

    Sounds like a plan!

Which cruise companies offer the cabin share, as never seen those advertised? MSC supposedly do some cruises with no single supplements, but every time I've looked they're more expensive.
  • Good morning.

I feel so tired today :(

Have a lovely day all :)

After thinking about it I think it was me misreading what was being said again . When I am feeling a tad down I tend to read things the wrong way. All's well again .

Watch this space next Tuesday (not tomorrow) will have some news about Poppy ;)

It will either be good news or embarrassing news depending how she behaves on her day out :)

Been checking out the :heart2::love::heart2:Valentine meal deals although I do not have a valentine to share it with:(it is still a good buy and will put the wine away to add to my collection for my big Birthday in May. As usual they all vary in price and quality but am going to have a look at T's today as the M&S does not start yet

Sorry for delay in replying - have been tied up all day. Memory foam mattresses I find v uncomfortable. I get really hot - almost as if I'm going to explode with the heat. I remove layers and then get cold. It's weird. Plastic under sheets have a similar effect. Before I realised what was happening I ended up sleeping on the floor. after that I found a spare blanket to put between the mattress and the bottom sheet. But I'd never have one at home!

Ok lol thanks. I ve decided I ll wait a while anyway :)
