Thanks for the replies dm and lj ec i ll see if I can try some somehow lol.

Anyone know if the bacon still works today please ?

I'm a bit late for today in most parts of Great Britain, but I expect the bacon to work all tomorrow, as long as it remains in stock for A on msm. As I've suggested before, I think tomorrow is effectively the last day as I think the bacon price for M is a glitch and I do not expect it to be repeated.

Evangeline I'll hopefully get round to replying to your post, about my shopping habits, later.:)
  • Hi everyone. I've received so much from the thread, I'd love to give something back. It would be great to find a trigger for the 3 for £10/£9 offers. When others have searched/ found them, there is often talk about how many items are shown when signed in/ out of MSM, whats the significance of this?

I've looked at the 3 for £10 and can see 32 on A.com, 28 signed out of MSM and 27 when signed in. Any significance to this? Happy to test/ scan tomorrow

:rotfl:I have a womble from a few days ago, with some salad on. It looks like they made the mistake of going through a staffed till and ended up paying one hundred times more for the item:rotfl::rotfl:.

It came up originally as 5 grams at £1.00/kg and was going to charge them a penny. However, it was voided and put through as "Salad Reduced" at £1:eek:. Some reduced salad! Not! I suspect that method of putting it through means it won't appear on the APG. (Maybe to watch for the future if the original item is on mix and match mbuy savings - I suspect they don't come off for "reduced" items though.) However, at least it won't appear on the APG at 1p and compare inevitably much much more expensively to elsewhere.

And...it's all good as it's not 10% cheaper than Morries. Wish M were cheaper though - there should never be a comparison that merely isn't 10% cheaper in my view. People ought to shop correctly and should only ever have a comparison that is cheaper at the other place, wherever they shop that does price promises. Unfortunately they got the wrong Quorns:

    1 x Quorn Chicken Style Pieces (300g)£1.79£1.99:(
    1 x Quorn Swedish Style Balls (300g)£1.99£1.99:(

Correct prices for M no doubt. The shopper shopped in the wrong way:laugh:.

See what I mean - this is the kind of rubbish you get when they are cheaper and merely not 10% cheaper than somewhere else, rather than the other place being, as it should be, cheaper.

As well as comparisons to horrendous prices on Twix fingers - bigger pack would have worked out cheaper vs T some weeks ago. And they bought the Egg Custards that are glitching vs M at the moment, but mixed their shop up and it's no good:(.

    Why £0.03?

They'd have been better buying the Salad Potatoes and the Egg Custards vs M and leaving out the rubbish items. Those 98p items that have replaced the 50ps!:(:rotfl:

But...do the Chocolate and the Toffee Sundaes pick up M mbuy pricing?

:think:What you do think? (Are they even the right ones?)

Yes, I went, I could not see what you obviously saw looking up, then again, I dont know what type I was looking for, but I did find some Lir Dark Chocolate collection boxes in a rather strange place. I left some for you, but that naughty TM is going to snaffle them today :p
Give me a shout if you are going to tesco any time soon, and I will tell you where, as they could possibly be re-stocked.

Thanks glad you got some at least and TM too been busy all day today

May pop there on Tuesday so will give you a shout :D

    Obviously no luck whatsoever.

    Vs M:
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Chocolate Sundae (2x100g)£1.00N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Toffee Sundae (2x100g)£1.00N/A

The S/P Yorkshire Puddings compare vs M (49p), and Egg Custards going vs 35p today and tomorrow.

i got a valentines one posted directly with my message for 62p
  • Simple wipes and bacon both worked for me today, my first success! :j

I didn't get it as cheap as I now realise I could have as I included some shop it items and some impulse buys (:p) which were more at Ms, but you live and learn! Still got £21.50 worth of shopping for under £7 :D

    Thanks to you all!

Well, I've tried my first shop - Simple face wash and wipes, also bacon and my first shopit and clicksnap items. Shopit worked well, but nothing showing on Quidco after uploading my receipt - does it usually take a while? APG due 4pm, fingers crossed...
I've also just come back from a shop buying these :D

I've been going through shopping lists this morning and can confirm that all the following multibuys have all items from A5da.com picked up by MSM. The only way to find a trigger for these now is if there's an item in the offer instore that isn't on the website and therefore not picked up by MSM

    2 for £12 Olay
    3 for £4 toothpaste
3 for £9 toiletries (including JF elixir)

It's possible there may be a trigger instore for the Olay. I'll post details later when I can get to my PC as I need to post photos which I can't do from an ipad
