Don't worry, I didn't mean it that way :o You did buy the right things. Its one of those thing like last week when Scamps bought the pink poo and it didn't scan in the offer but later someone else bought it and it worked. I guess we'll never know for sure why these things happen and it wouldn't surprise me if certain stores deliberately try to sabotage our glitches, who knows

I probably will still look for glitches, I can't resist :o:D Maybe next wednesday I'll just post the info of the missing multis and leave it to you all if you want to act on this info. I don't really want to say anymore that I think a glitch will work at the point its untested so apologies to all who lost money because of me :o

    Good morning all

I am always amazed by your ability to find these glitches or possible glitches Evangeline and I am very grateful to you for it.

I never spend money that I can't afford to lose if it doesn't work and never blame the person that posted the information. It's a chance we take and I do it as much for the fun of it as the money saving 😊

Thanks to whoever posted the 1p chocs tip. I had a look while I was in Tesco last night and spotted two boxes of the Thorntons Viennese on the top shelf, they're DD's favourites so she was most impressed!

Two boxes were a nice treat but I have to ask...what are people doing with five carrier bags or several outer cases of chocs? Big families? Do a lot of running so can eat a box a day? School chocolate tombola? I wouldn't dare have that much chocolate in the house!

The biscuits I got are all going to family, friends and food bank.
    1p Xmas chocs -
Jumpers to crafty friend to make stuff to sell to raise money for altzimers (which I clearly can't spell!)
Antlers in works Xmas party dress up box
Chocolates in easter baskets for nieces
Chocolates in Halloween bags for trick or treaters

    I haven't eaten any myself :)
  • Hey All,

A bit of a   this morning.

Bought some AAA batteries with my regular CC from A the other day, got home and realised I'd bought the wrong one's and I needed AA instead.

Took them into the store I did the CC and apparently they can't do refunds for CC in store.

So I rang customer services... Who said they could have done it in store, but instead they'll ring me back in 2 hours with a driver and a time they'll come and collect them (to suit them not me)

    Never got a call.

Which means I'm now having to waste more of my time ringing them back to find out what the heck went on. Honestly, it's become more about principle than the  refund now.

Anyone else had a similar kind of issue?

We had a really stupid sub, which if I refused on the CIC would have been faffing with the on line E-voucher, so we took them back to the shop and asked them to put the money on a gift card, which was easy. We went to get a few bits and pieces in the shop, and saw the SA who said that she had been told off and that everything for the CIC had to go through them and not in store!
