I think this was posted on the dark side - but with a RTC SEL as well.
I've just been to A and my SEL was full price, I didn't check at CS though.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
PD and I went out a hunting today. 11 boxes of fudge and 4 Thorntons for me. Very pleased. Some of the new finds posted were definitely in stores we've been in today though *bangs head against wall*

 Still not worth it unless you are a muggle from Muggledom
No, I'd go for them. Should (i.e. no guarantees) be good for T PP vs A. I always buy at the correct store - namely the one that's more expensive:rotfl:.
Nice help if using a small-ish cond.spend (but don't spend unnecessarily just to reach that amount if you don't need to;)) - £3 towards the spend and then should give quite a lot more than half its cost back. A very good item - if it compares! Just get the one and don't mess around with the 4:eek: for 3.0 -
And I have already given away 20 of the fudge....
59 fudge, 14 thorntons, 24 finest belgium, 29 Lily O's 2 liqueurs, 2 Dairy Box mini, 2 Lily O minis. and 2 dark choc selection0 -
Fab trip to see AAu who as I expected is rather Aau-some. We raided Mrs macs mcds.
She is so lovely as is her tablet !!
Little miss AAu is a delight. Clearly well brought up. Well done Mr and mrs Aau :T
Now off to work

Had to get muggle items for DW - I managed to keep the £2.75 Dr O's out the basket
She settled on this.. which is a 'try me love me or your money back'
I'm guessing she won't love it as it's not Dr O pizza :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
For one day it's probably too much hassle to get an Oyster card, but if you can find someone who can lend you one, they cut down costs significantly. I forgot mine once and it was cheaper, marginally, to get another one and then go to Watford than it was to buy a single to Watford. If you go to London regularly (does not need to be often), it saves a lot of time and money.
I think you can use your Mastercard or Amex if you have the contactless cards and they work the same as Oyster (or have I imagined it - I know I read somewhere that the first £5 was free on a promo a few months ago). As in, you can just use your credit card as the ticket/Oyster card if I understood correctly.

I don't know if you can find a deal with these, but noticed some low prices in T today.
McVitie's chocolate Digestives double pack is reduced to £1.34.
John Frieda Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight is 3 for £10 (down from £6.99 each)
OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo (385ml) is 2 for £10 (£6.99 in Adsa)
OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil (100ml) is 2 for £10 (£6.99 in Adsa)
All the 3 for £10 are mixed up with the 2 for £10 on display.
I noticed McVities (single pack) Chocolate Chip Hobnobs A 98p vs T 59p. They are 300g pack. Might be good for some (Morries was 54p on the ordinary Hobnobs years ago). Should work out cheaper, by weight, than the Chocolate Cream Hobnobs just 200g pack in A at 50p.
Make sure you get the right ones - plain McVities Hobnobs are £1.19 in T:eek:. Though wondering why anyone would need Hobnobs or biscuits after the Fox's:rotfl:.
But...
As for these McVities double pack choc. digestives, I have put them down as Morrisons vs T:rotfl:, along with... I did have a few items I found yesterday but will have to find them again:(. £2.40 help towards £15;). Wouldn't buy them in T if they paid me:eek:. (Actually, well, I would make an exception in that circumstance:D.) Righto, I'm off for a short while now, I'll be back tonight probably and try to look for Tvs M then:cool:. (Actually, it's not cool at all - it's a flamin' anoraky thing to do:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.)0 -
Gah, all these chocs on the one day i don't have the car
Well, I could have got my brother to take me but that would have involved him and his nasty grabbng girlfriend getting in on the act.... :rotfl: :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Has anyone not found this at £2 ...because I'm itching to do a HD and this will be perfect ??.................oops sorry excited ..........afternoon gang xxxxxx
Got only one box (better than none ) of chocs instore, was 10 mins late back and had to make the time up grrrr.
Oh yes, the chocs are :
Thorntons classics delicous Dark favourites 149g (small brown box)
bc ends 29584 xxxx
It doesn't seem to be on MSM though so although £6 on A.com and £2 instore, it may not compare against anyone?
