    This happened to me when the points from T mobile were not going on my card. Phoned to query and was told (sure she should not have said) that the points were going to a T member of staff...

    Seriously:eek::mad:

    Hope I'm not subsidizing someone's cruise:(

    Looks like the Richmond Mini Pork Burgers have joined the meatballs and the mini sausages at 50p in T.

    I had some of the meatballs yesterday and really didn't think much of them! Want to find the sausages in T (not available in my A) so I can wrap bacon round them for roast chicken meals but am rather suspicious of the quality of them too.

    London may be huge, but the tube makes it sooo easy to get around, even for a northerner like me! As long as you choose a hotel close to a tube station, it really doesn't matter where you stay - everywhere is accessible. Just get day tube passes for all your family and you can hop on and off anywhere and any time you want.

    Have a great trip! :D

    For one day it's probably too much hassle to get an Oyster card, but if you can find someone who can lend you one, they cut down costs significantly. I forgot mine once and it was cheaper, marginally, to get another one and then go to Watford than it was to buy a single to Watford. If you go to London regularly (does not need to be often), it saves a lot of time and money.

    I know. I was hopping mad, especially as I had given my clubcard when I was taking out the contract in store. I did get the points back but no compensation for my trouble.

    I assume you're joking right? :eek:

    Nope. Deadly serious :eek: In a rush and they've just been delivered. Grabbed them and thought, oh, cocktail sausages. Shoved some on a plate with cucumber and carrots and sat the kids down to eat them. Only when I was unpacking bags etc that I realised they were meant to be cooked first. Thought they were like those fridge raider jobbies. Oops. They can be put in microwave for 45 seconds according to packet so they must be already cooked???! Aargh. :o

    If you have a contactless credit/debit card, it works exactly the same as the oyster card and caps the same way as well, so no need for an oyster card any more.
