Thanks for this Evan but unfortunately even though multis off when I shopped they were added to lunch time update and compared at 2 for £3 v £1 at T. Would have been great if it worked but I'm happy with 90p a bag and maybe it helps us understand system a bit more ??? Well that's the theory anyway :rotfl: xx

This is what happens when I'm out all day and away from this thread:rotfl:. Oh well, I guess I have to have some life away from shopping and this thread:D. Thanks for this one - you've saved me a trip.

Meanwhile, on the Quorn Nuggets - of course they are still 93p in M, you know that!:D but question is will they still pick it up - typical that they decided apparently only to put that one (of the ones on offer in M) into the 3 for £5, unless I'm really missing something and msm isn't updated therefore not allowing me to see which ones have the mbuy missing:mad: - I assume it's now all updated on msm (but not necessarily the APG) and therefore they haven't put all three Quorns into the 3 for £5 (all three that are 93p or £1 in M), but only this one:(. On that basis, no point me getting 3x Nuggets - not enough room in freezer:(. Would have be great though if it had been Quorn Nuggets, Quorn Fillets and Quorn Chicken Burgers in the 3 for £5.

Almost got trouted buying the oats - the SA was pointing out how expensive they are compared to own brand and shaking her head :)

Serves them right for pricing them so expensively, inflating the individual cost compared to a competitor's current single purchse price and then putting an mbuy on them to get people to buy more. Thus having people pay them for twice as many products and have them assuming that there's a saving compared to the individual price when in fact the mbuy price, with the 'saving', is still more expensive than the cost of two from the competitor.

No good SA pointing out their own expense - it's their store that's ripping off customers (compared to the current price available at one of their competitors) who buy them and don't go on to check their receipts, so they can shake their heads as much as they like as far as I'm concerned.

    Good Evening

I noticed that Walkers Squares crunchy cheese and onion 6x22g are in 3 for £4 and 2 for £2.50 on a.com.

There are 15 on a.com and 3 on msm.

Bit expensive anyway so I don't suppose we can use this for anything.

I thought maybe useful, as system can only hold one mbuy therefore would miss other that we might go for. (As per the Muller indiv. yogs at times.) However, sadly it seems Walkers Squares are £1.50 and 2 for £2.50. Therefore, three would be 2 at £2.50, plus £1.50 = £4, in other words the same as 3 for £4. Therefore doesn't seem to make any difference (even though I'm racking my brain trying to remember if M has them at £1 each:rotfl: - they're not showing many for M on msm, but, in any event, it seems they are too expensive anyway). Unless again I'm missing something - for people who can't work out that 4 for £5 is better than 3 for £4 presumably. V.expensive price of £1.25 each even on the 'best' mbuy in A - and these are regularly on even more rip-off 3 for £4. It's amazing how many people 'fall' for that and then go overbuying and getting 3 multipacks. £1.66... each:eek:. Here, the mbuy 'trick' of 3 for £4, in this context, i.e. a context of there being 2 for £2.50 on offer, appears to mean buying the 'lower'*-priced 2 for £2.50 mbuy and then paying full price on the third one - in other words, not making any mbuy 'saving' beyond the 2 for £2.50 and having the 3 for £4 there for people that can't do the maths and work out that it's getting them to pay full price for the third one! Might as well just get one, at £1.50:eek::eek: if that's so!

(*It's not really that 'low' at all, the 'lower' of the two mbuys here is a total rip-off IMO.)

Look, even my own guide price of £1 for a 6 pack of crisps is now unrealistically high. Based on big box prices, or on glitches, a 6 pack now needs to be below 50p to interest me. Waities at 2 for £2 on some of these. So, £1 each price when buying their mbuy. Whichever of A's mbuy set-ups is chosen (and I use the phrase "set-up" in a neutral way and without any implication of a cheat, a fakery or a con; instead I mean something that exists, i.e. something that is set up), it's still more than £1 each:eek:! Another rip-off mbuy, IMO, that sees people paying over the odds on an individual price and then buying more (to get the mbuy). Of course I exclude the Elite's way of doing mbuy purchasing:D.

It's only us that it seems to me actually gets any mbuy 'saving'. It's never a good idea for an mbuy to appear on the APG on any comparable items, as any "saving" made is immediately taken away by the APG. Sometimes or often it's cheaper to miss the mbuy and compare vs a substantively cheaper half price for example elsewhere, and avoid being drawn into their overbuying and paying them more. Other times - or even solely:D - it's best to wait for a glitch and only to buy, and then on mbuy, when that is in place.

Right, I do all my posts in a run at the end of the day btw!:rotfl:

    See you later folks!:D
