:hello: For people who thinking I'm missing out, I am watching all this glitching around me:eek: and ready to get some shops quickly prepared (as quick as my completeness, detail, perfection approach allows:().
Where are you getting £4.85 APG on the Niveas from? I make this £3.48 vs £2.00 (and 10%) times 2. Equals £1.68 x2 = £3.36.
I am ready to replace a couple of fillers on my Sains. shop as spending way too much on them if indeed it's equivalent to the 2 appearing Nivea being 7.5p each (I'm ignoring non-appearing triggers in that calculation - I'm looking at net cost (i.e. after APG) on each of the appearing items on my comp.). However, it looks like these are costing £1.64:eek:, equivalent to having 82p vs NA on each of 2 appearing Niveas. So, I'll go back to my SP Cheese Slices at 50p:eek: vs NA to get the 8 items (saving me £1.14 less the cost of my second filler). Typical though if S is cheapest on any A mbuy glitch items - is there anything in Sains. that is actually a good price and therefore is good for the APG?:mad:0 -

Scan and shop is the future for 1p shopping. 54 in one shop (though I paid 60p, as I scanned one box lots of times and made sure I had more scanned than boxes so they could not accuse me of theft, which would have happened if they had stopped me and I had scanned 54, but had 55 in the trolley. I did get checked when I got 5 Lily Obriens, but they just scanned the items and ignored the prices on the screen. Have some THorntons too, just missing the Dark Chocs.0

By the way Savvy I forgot to say I think Morrison's HO is a 0345 number which is local rate and you can ring from your mobile. Also if you have a smartphone you can download an app called weq4u and you can ring 0845 or 0800 numbers from your mobile using it
Alternatively I have also used the site called "saynoto0870" very useful and gives alternative numbers for most major companies
I don't have a mobile or smartphone, and I'm not ringing 0845 from my landline again. I am happy with ringing M HQ on 01274 261000 and asking for CS. While I understand that the HQ line is weekdays 9-5, my understanding is that HQ CS are also 9-5 working hours and the normal landline geographical number put me through fine. I'm having no truck with any non-geographic supposed "local rate" - whilst in the days of BT you could rely on being charged the same as if you were ringing your own code area, I cannot guarantee that anything other than normal geographic is included within my inclusive calls - any prefix other than 01... I will have to examine in lengthy detail before daring to ring. I understood that 0845 was included but, it seems, it may not be. I never remember whether it's 0870, 0845 or 0345 or something else that is in my inclusives and have to check every time. I think 0800 freephone is free on my specific landline provider but even then I can't guarantee that even that will be free due to the huge amount of confusion over just what is and isn't included and the list of prefixes my provider has, tucked away on their website, that runs to tens of pages.
In the light of this, I think the best policy is to say completely outright no to anything other than geographic 01 numbers. And, even if a "freephone" 0800 is offered, even then only to ring after exercising caution. I've been caught out once - and paid them, when the call wasn't within my inclusives (and I do not see any reason for paying to have my inclusive calls if I then am ringing anything that is not within them and, thus, paying again for the calls). So, I am going to stick entirely to what I know for definite is included and be an outright stickler and pedantic about this:T. It's the only way to be:D - otherwise I will be caught out:(.0 -

Princess_x wrote: »Well I answered my own question and yours too Savvy. Glade is still £1.25 in store and they subbed with the floral ltd edition one which smells AMAZING! And the unexpected bonus was that it compared to M at £2, so looks like it has finally picked up the correct price. I didn't even want the APG, just wanted the candles lol.
10 x Glade Candle Blackberry Frost Limited Edition £50.00 £20.00
Typical that this went back to £2 on the only occasion after I've given up! However I'm not putting it back onto the list - I bet it worked for a couple of days and then reverted to £5 or became N/A:(. Just so typical that the Monday results, which are all too brief, picked it up. However, 50p 10% off £1.25 isn't too bad - except they are being paid for:(:(:rotfl:, so, if anyone knows, do update me as to the situation from Wednesday - if it's still £2 beyond a couple of days, I might put it back on as lasting another approx. half-week; otherwise I won't bother. Meanwhile -:DI wonder whether Glade Bali & Sandalwood will work vs £1.48 this time? I now have it but :(does the APG?
