    Evening elite.

My dear friend's OH has been told he doesn't have a job from tomorrow. He was the main earner in the house. She has a zero hours job which won't be enough to support them or pay the rent. They have no savings and no food in the house and they have a little girl. They're like family to me and I don't know what to do.

Gonna get more info but how can they give him so little notice?

He's entitled to a weeks notice which may be made in lieu of pay (that is he finishes tomorrow with an extra weeks wages) unless the company he is is working for has gone into administration? then he is entitled to nothing for now but can join the Q to claim what's owed at a later date.
Working for 5 months he will be entitled to either a weeks notice or a weeks pay in lieu of notice. Which equates to the same amount money wise.

Just had a weird APG thing... though when is the APG not acting weird :rotfl::money:

I cannot remember if I had previously looked at the comparison (I'm sure I had), but I definitely had not clicked 'get voucher' yet.

I now have 2 pringle APGs that I thought would had expired, both from receipts dated 8th Dec and both valid until 4th March

So, Am I correct thinking you can claim the voucher any time as long as you first viewed the comparison within the 28 days ?

Nothing weird about it, always been that way. As posted many times before on previous threads.

Today I drove to Audley court in Shropshire to drop my OH for a 6 week resendtial course :( we have been struggling lately.
I know he won't manage 6 weeks and I know I'll probably be picking him up by the weekend and bringing him back here for me to cope with :(
I feel guilty. I felt absolute relief at making him someone else problem today :o I know that sounds terrible :( but I did

    Good morning all

Nothing to feel bad or guilty about FC. We all need a bit of respite now and again :) Hope dh manages more than a couple of days, but even if that's all he manages, it's a few days 'off' for you :)

I've never yet got a completely random item in a cc or hd order. Best I've managed was four parsnips when I only ordered one. I live in hope of getting something unexpected.

Good morning everyone. I have had 3 NSD's so far this week as RL is so busy I do not have time. Will need to pop in tonight as have some wombles going out of date.
I am proud to say no biccies or toothbrushes for me.

I once got an extra carrier bag with a bottles of wine, a pack of nappies, a tub of whisper hot chocolate, packet of snickers, packet of rockies and 2 tins of tomatoes. I rang them up and was told for being honest just keep them.
