I know, that apg could have been £15 higher if it wasn't for the pesky £100 monthly limit

    :p

Only a Muppet would get an Apg for £115:D:D:D:p

Oh snap, my heart goes out to both you and fourp, both being torn in different directions. I have no advice, just wanted to say I am thinking of you both xx

I take your point, but that's probably irrelevant if they cost you nothing to start with - probably happy with £100?

Try something like a cheap perfume or aftershave - the alcohol in it should remove the sticky residue if you spray and leave it for a minute or two then wipe away (of course you could just use alcohol itself! :p)

    Don't waste the alcohol:beer::beer:
Also lighter fuel, the liquid sort, works.

♥ Thanks for the support Llovelies, unfortunately matters escalated to nasty texts as I was walking to work :(

Obviously couldn't deal with the problem but just crumbled in a sobbing heap at work :o:o:o

Luckily Fourp came in & said sorry over the counter ♥ But my Boss who is a different religion & sees death a 'different' way called him over & offered his 'wisdom' which did not help one iota

I'm trying to be strong & supportive but until I walk in his shoes I can't comprehend his mind set & torment.

He says he is going back to Mrs Fourp tomorrow - It's his birthday on Thursday & I've had a cake ordered especially & planned a nice day out ....

Do I tell him I have birthday plans?

    dilemma :o

    Or just let him go?

Oh snap I really feel for you both

My opinion is you let him go if that's what he wants A cake a nice, dinner celebration can be done another day Mrs fourp will not likely be around for his next birthday You and fourp will hopefully have many birthday celebrations together

    ((((hugs)))

Probably one of the most pathetic posts I have seen on here. The fact that you posted pretty much the same comment in 3 different posts says to me you are looking to cause unrest on here. I think you actually instigated the last major disagreement on the thread regarding APG details (based on a comment by Henrik iirc) when it wasn't necessary.

But as per usual it will be all turned around and the newbies and AE's will be blamed for upsetting the thread.

No one should be ever shamed of donating to charity or doing charity work. Why shouldn't people comment on what they have done or donated.

I never knew what a food bank was until I started reading this thread, so I was educated on this by people actually posting about it as others may have been. I am not a person who donates to charity but I don't take issue with people who do.

Look at 4dogs and EMMAP who have done, imo, some excellent charity work/donations and posted the results/pictures on here. Are they condescending? Or is your view just selective?

On another note on posts during the night. Most people actually welcome and encourage newbies but then others seem fit to ridicule the questions they ask. Why? If you are that offended by it ignore the question and let some of the helpful people on the thread answer it.

When I found this thread the bilge used to grate on me but I understand now how it keeps the thread moving etc but the comments last night regarding people wanting to talk about shopping on the "night shift" is petty at best.

    Well said, Sir D :).

Any potential newbies I've sent in this direction have soon been scared off, which is such a shame, or struggle to keep up with the bilge. If I see a post I know the answer to, I will answer it. It's as quick to answer it as to tell someone to look for themselves anyway.

Shouldn't charity begin at home (on our thread at least) by being charitable to others who need some help?

I've quite often found answers later than the OP because someone else has dared to ask the question and been responded to. We don't all have the time to keep up with all the posts every day, so it helps a lot of people even if it can feel repetitive sometimes.

If people can get to grips with the search function they can find the answer as quickly as ask the question ;)
