1 x Nescafe Azera Intenso Instant Coffee (100g) £4.99 £3.00
This is the coffee that is the trigger from my post yesterday.
2 for £6 or £4.99 each.Bar code 761303497989
I didn't buy it because I only went for the shopitize sweets.
Thank you.
Has anyone tried this please? Espresso appears to be (or rather, doesn't appear to be ...;) ) the missing one on MSM.
Espresso plus an Intenso or Americano would work out at around £3.50 for 2x100g if in an Av M or S?
Not cheap, but not bad for what I assume may be half decent coffee?
Many thanks

Morning everyone.
I've caught up overnight. As someone who sometimes posts abouts this stuff, I can't help but feel a lot of it was aimed in my direction
I know you're all nice people. You don't need to post about things you do for me to know that you do them. I sometimes do because charity stuff has become a bigger part of my life than it used to be and I've always felt able to share my life on here. It does make me happy. And sometimes, when glitchy items are involved, I thought you'd all like to know where's it's gone. It's a fascination of mine, in the same way I like to see a tower of loo roll
I'm really sorry if my posts have irritated you guys. It has NEVER been my intention to show-off or guilt trip anyone into anythingAs I've said on FB, I post pictures of whatever makes me happy, gives me purpose etc etc. Sometimes it's a picture of my lunch, a beautiful sunset, or a link to a page where you can vote to get a charity some money. I don't discriminate.
I think, like FC, I might take a little break. Reading back has made me feel a bit sick.
Hope you all have wonderful Mondays xx
I'm really sorry you feel like this, its such a shame. Your posts have often prompted me to do a bit more, and I think thats a good thing. I have never felt guilted into doing anything, or as if anyone is showing off. I have mentioned donating to foodbanks, its not to show off, its just something I've done that I feel is connected to this thread, as if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have the extras, so thats why I've mentioned it.
If people mentioning prompts other people to donate, thats great. If people don't want to donate, thats also fine, I don't think there is any pressure on here.
When I was growing up we used to get given a food box from the church at Christmas, as there was just my Mum and I, and money was very tight. I was so grateful for it, especially the yummy treaty things, as never used to get stuff like that as just no money.
I hope the biscuits donated are useful. I always donate stuff I would eat myself (well, apart from the Udi's that I haven't actually tried!). I don't think anyone should feel bad about mentioning stuff like this, after all this thread talks about all kinds of things.
Been at my friends all day, really nice to catch up with her.
Snap, sorry Mr Fourp is being a bit grumpy. Is there any more news on his Mum?0 -

They are the exact colour pair my daughter has, she just has the ankle boot size rather than the longer ones like you. She loves them, and when she went on Woodcraft Folk camp last weekend took them instead of her walking boots! They are very easy to clean because of the material (and you can spot her from a mile away! :rotfl:).0 -

So in theory if you wanted the biscuits you could just buy the individual pk you suspect the points to be on it would show on your receipt:) hth
Thank you - I probably have "enough" biscuits for now as I "bought" "a few" over the past few days. Good to know if they are still working in case stocks deplete quicker than anticipated though, and having two flavours working means you can still hit your £15 spend for your full points refund... assuming my points turn into vouchers at some point

Morning all :hello:
It's dark and still mostly night time here!
I agree with aau1 (but couldn't have put it as well), the gist of what I've read on here was that some people had switched from 10p sweets to tins for foodbank and getting extra biscuits above what they would have normally.
There was a post about an encounter with a non-mse who was condescending about premium biscuits at the foodbank drop off point, the response on here was 'oh how horrible'
Unless we have had posts removed... or maybe because I don't read between the lines and haven't picked up on something?
Personally I only give items I would be happy using myself - my local one has a shopping list of what's in need and they have biscuits on there.
I don't mean to be argumentative but I like to think we can discuss such things on here, this place is so good when it's running peacefully.
Happy Monday everyone - have a good one whatever you are doing!
I certainly buy tins as fillers now, some of which I use, some of which I stick in the FB collection point at work.
When we first started with the collection box it was rather like those 'food hampers' you used to get in church hall raffles.. old tins of macaroni cheese and ood cook in sauces - I see now that donations are in date and generally very much needed including a few 'treats'.
I've thought about the 'Phoebe' situation, giving in a totally selfless way, but have concluded that if, without blowing my own trumpet, I mention donating to the food bank, it might just encourage others to do the same.
I probably wouldn't have thought of doing so if I hadn't read it on here first.
I'm still catching up, so sorry if these things have already been said.
Pip

Wrong size of hairspray:p. Shall we all do ":p:p" at that receipt on your behalf? That was a better Activia yogurt (:( as it gives nowt). Whilst in M carpark, I picked up a receipt - they'd "saved" 25p, already used their card I'm afraid - I suspect it might have been the Cravendale, together with some other £2 item - can't even remember what it was now, so my post here is useless, bakery item maybe?, that gave that difference. In fact, come to think of it now, it was probably the Cravendale and a 4pk chocolate pack, comparing vs A with that amount and everything else N/A. (Which may be correct N/A.)
I mentioned the fact that M never (even if it calculates correctly) gives a price match until a £5 amount is reached. (I also mentioned, or else suggested, somewhat earlier that there were some Wrigley's gum packs on £1.50 in M - in fact they are not Wrigley's but another brand, so, sorry about that one.) Saw a video from them the other day, which had been published much earlier (and I'd see it back then too:o:o) - they said people didn't like lots of small vouchers therefore, they saved them until they had £5. People could lose the small vouchers (so, instead, they get a bigger voucher, which, possibly they could lose and have lost a greater amount. Presumably, they'll take more care of that though). Anyway... I think they said something like it would take the average customer two months to collect £5. Well, so far, I've had printed £15 - so, I think that's my shopping with them done for six months!:D:rotfl:
In fact, that Activia yogurt is rather bad, given that others, or maybe that one who knows?, have been 92p in M recently?0 -
Thank you.
Has anyone tried this please? Espresso appears to be (or rather, doesn't appear to be ...;) ) the missing one on MSM.

Emma, your inbox is full so can't PM you. Will just say publicly instead that it was your posts when you volunteered with the foodbank collection that motivated me to find out whether we have a local foodbank and to start donating to it.0 -
