    Good Evening :)

Did you have a good weekend TS? Sorry if you've said, I missed most of today and all of yesterday.

My Saturday morning was as  as my Friday night :rotfl::rotfl: I 'missed' breakfast which must have been at some ungodly hour because I was up at 7.30am  I did get ONE cup of very bad instant coffee though :o when I enquired about the possibility of a second I was informed it wasn't worth putting the kettle on for a single cup :o:o So I spent the funeral service doing false dainty coughs to cover the noise from my growling tummy :o

Really nice and kind people but just very old fashioned and set in their ways and obviously not used to company, bless them :o

I got home late this afternoon. I escaped the funeral yesterday and took advantage of my freedom to go and catch up with a friend. One with plenty of wine and proper coffee :D

:rotfl: I can imagine you speeding off to the nearest food establishment, eating like it's your first meal out of prison and growling if anyone tried to approach you :D

I am old enough to remember having a bath in front of a coal fire.

Always surprised to find colour tvs when I went to friends' houses, didn't know they existed. :rotfl:

Joint of meat on a sunday that lasted until Wednesday and chickens were far too expensive only Easter, birthdays or Christmas. (well a capon at Christmas ;))

I was going to keep my mum's hand mincer but all the blades had gone rusty where the kitchen cupboards must have got a bit damp, there was never to the day she died any heating in that bloomin kitchen unless you cooked in it. :o

Was the mincer one that you connected to the table and the handle turned the corkscrew like bit in the middle as we have one of those, it gets used daily for scraps for the hens and feed for chicks , the boys where really impressed how good it is for something so simple. .:D
