Bless her, the young girl (just 21, a beautician, no financial expert) just wanted to raise a few pounds to help him out. I do hope the nasty brigade (not you scamps :A) don't make a big issue out of it and turn on her for trying to do the right thing.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

For anyone doing self-assessment HMRC forms, remember you have to submit by midnight tonight to avoid penalties - I have submitted 12 hours ahead of schedule :A.
Each year I think I will get them completed at my financial year end, and each year I never quite get round to completing them until the run up to the deadline. Next (this) year, I will try harder.

Which was just as well 'cause nearly back in hospital on Wednesday!!

Not major damage, nibbled biscuit packets and choc wrappers. Pest guy was really nice and very thorough. He said that everything should be wiped with anti=bacterial wipes and not to drink out of the cans that were in that cupboard as they may have been wee'ed on! Even wiping them would not make it safe to drink out of. So they've gone.
There was an access hole at the back of that cupboard to a pipe that has long gone, so we've sealed it now. We can't seal the back of another cupboard that has the stopc@ck behind it. Expert reckoned they were getting to the area under the cupboards behind the kick boards, but we have solid floors and walls. There is a pipe on the outside of the house that we can't see where it comes into, but is possibly open to behind the dishwasher.
Can I ask you, the expert said not to block that pipe for a few days, so if they do come in they will get the poison, but surely it is better that they don't come in?
I got half way through this thinking you were talking about Henlans.....I was a bit worried about the 'access hole'!100 -
