I got the 20's and it didn't work but on the shelf in store its showing the 17 ones for £3.50. I just refused them but still should be up :)

The price for the bios are RTC at 3.50 in my larger store, the coloured ones are still full price. The prices for both in my ex Netto are still at £6.85

We also need to keep an eye on MSM to see if the price of this vanish gold drops in S, M, T or W as still showing full price at the moment.

Had a couple of successes with complaints recently.

Three weeks ago I went to change the (Duracell) batteries in my weather forecaster and one of the batteries had leaked. Complained to Duracell, they asked me to phone them to find out where they were made and to check the weather station was OK, and now have a nice £10 voucher to use on Duracell products.

Same day I grabbed the (Duracell) torch off the shelf to look under the stairs, turned it on and it immediately went off. Batteries were OK so it had to be the "bulb" section of it (LEDs). Again complained to Duracell, was on the phone to them and tried to turn it on again, one of the 5 LEDs came on and then went off. They gave me details for the manufacturers and I now have a new torch coming too :D

I had a better than expected result yesterday with Western Power. They were doing planned renewal work up the road from me yesterday and my power went off just after 9am. I knew nothing about the work and ran around with dripping wet hair thinkng my dryer had bust and then that I had a fault with the circuit breakers. Eventually found out from lady up the road that evyone had warning letters - but I didn't. Turns out (I found out around 4pm when the power and phones came back on ) that their records were wrong and they didn't know I would be affected. The Area Manager was very sympathetic - I couldn't even get my car out of the garage as the door is electonically operated and I haven't a clue how to overide that - and immediately offered £50 for the unexpected problem. He also agreed to pay for any repairs to my computer which went into crash mode and just wouldn't re-start or revert to a back up point (fortunately I did manage to get it going later last night).

I wasn't expecting that at all and only phoned to have a bleat about not informing me in advance as they are supposed to do. Made a pleasant change to get good customer service.

The system won't even let me order one ... it seems to think I have the maximum in my basket already :(

It seems to be picking up the 34.2 as the number I want to add to my basket.

    Try a different browser.

Halfords have an RC helicopter reduced from 50 to £5 and an RC lamborghini for £1. Can do reserve and collect if stock, or online order for copter, however, not showing on main site, only on the front screen of the mobile site (only on my phone, not when I try using lappy). Trying to sort link
  • I'm sure these were on a '5 for £2' offer very recently in A and they all might compare very well to M's price of 50p if the multis are not showing.

Does anyone know if the 5for offer is still on instore? Possible £1.45 on a £2 spend if it is..:D
