TS....I dithered about the towels last night......thanks bubbs:).......but I realised at Christmas that DD and DS are starting to build up their stashes here rather than take them back to uni etc. so I already have a collection of Denby stuff and lots of bits and pieces. So I decided not to bother.:o:)
See it's been biscuit heaven again today. Loving the sharing stories, food banks, charity shops and coffee mornings. Well done all you hunter gatherers:T

Emma...I'm so touched by your help to the homeless dogs...a truly lovely gesture.

Rose...Again lots of wise words from others about your mums treatment in hospital, please at least speak to someone in authority on the ward to find out what happened...I am well aware that sometimes the facts can become distorted when speaking to elderly relatives,but if what happened is a true reflection of the caring profession on that ward then it needs to improve,and that wont happen unless they are alerted to it.
My mum whist in hospital used to sometimes embelish the facts due to various medications or something as simple as a water infection that would make her see things in a different way to how they actually happened....several times we had to request details of "incidents" that happened on the wards whist she was being cared for....
At the end of it you need to know that your mum was treated with respect....I hope you get some answers and your mum is now recovering well at home.

Which is what they want you to do... :doh::(:( hasn't it worked well for them?

I went to see an accountant the other day who was nice, but I wasn't completely sold. They wouldn't give me even a ball park figure of a price, which isn't ideal when your just starting out. Are they likely to charge me for getting a quote?
They made me sign something but it was only a HMRC form no official contract or nothing, I wouldn't sign one of those without a price.

Also, spent my APG's last night on a double duvet for the new house. The luxury one. Down from £45, to shelf price £30 to £22.50 at the till. Post APG's it was £12.22. No wombles found though

It's all their fault for not taking you on:D!
