TBW, I recently discussed this with my parents and they are keen to get theirs done, however, a rough quote from the solicitors came back as over £1000 for the 2 of them.
So I have been looking into this, and found a lot of useful info on the gov website. There are 2 POA you can do, one financial and one about health, so my parents want 2 each. These cost £110 each, so now £440. But then, I read on the gov website that if your income is under £12k you can get a 50% reduction in the cost of the POA ......then I read that if you get certain benefits you can get the POA for free, which my parents qualify for. So we went from a £1000+ quote to zero. Admittedly I will have to complete all the paperwork, and you have to ensure that you do not make any mistakes (will get sister to check everything), but I am confident that it should not be too difficult. I know it wont suit everyone, but the gov website is certainly worth a read.

I was about to post similar - we found it is a very straightforward process to complete the forms and submit ourselves. Further details are available at: https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney.

Did everyone receive their Bespoke offer from before Christmas? I bought a pendant but it's not arrived, had a look on the website but couldn't see where to contact them for non delivery. Has this happened to anyone else?
    TIA
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I got mine 2 days ago!! Go on their FB page and message your order number and they said they'll resend as they had a few F**k ups.
    I take it, it's a moonshine order. :)
