    And hello Jelly.
Forgot to ask, how is Mummy P? She wasn't in the best of health the last time I was here. I do hope the news is better than good.:)

Had results back from the doctor and she had a bad chest infection. Almost totally gone now :)

We were worried but all turned out well in the end.

Won't be going back to Iceland for a bit so you've got plenty of time to get better ;) A friend of mine is out there at the moment, posting up pics of some of my favourite places. It's giving me feelings :o

Sort of - adventures in knitting:)
You may have to delay your return to Iceland if you want some Jelly-knitted gloves to keep your typewriter-bashing poetry-writing fingers warm; it's become evident that me and knitting are not BFFs:D

Not too shabby for a cack-hander*, though:) (You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to knit the wrong way round:o)
Note the knit and pearl rows, and colour blending.:D

    Hello Jelly

I haven't really baked in the last two weeks, been enjoying a wee break after a manic couple of months. I'm thinking about it though. How are you sir?

  • Ariel Actilift 16 washes was rolled back to £3 in my store today. They are showing as £5.20 on MSM and .com and compare to T at £3.
Not as good as the Persil but not a bad deal if your store like mine doesn't have the Persil rolled back.

OH had been using one of these for about a year now, he uses some liquid medicine from boots to water his bottles down, costs him £5.00 for the bottle, which probably lasts around 3 weeks now.

I get mine from a site called pure mist and its about £2 a 10ml bottle.

Two weeks?!? Don't you get withdrawal symptoms?
What is your 'default bake' to get you back in the rhythm of baking?
Are you enjoying Tom Kerridge on the Food & Drink programme as much as I am? (No need to answer that one:D)

So, what is first on your 'thinking list'?

I haven't watched it yet, been rewatching Merlin on Netflix :o
It's my SIL's birthday tomorrow so thinking of making her a little cake. I'm also making some wedding cakes this year so planning to make some tasters for them. My friend wants loads of chocolate cupcakes so I suggested making different variations for them. Unfortunately it means making a lot of chocolate cake this year, I'm not sure how I'll cope

Your knitting looks like it's coming along, how long did that take? :)
