In view of today's announcement on Eurozone QE, does anyone have any considered opinion on its likely effect(over the next 6 months) on the exchange rate of £ versus Euro. Intuitively, I would have thought that the £ is likely to strengthen, but is this process something that re-bases over the few days after the announcement, or is it likely to be a gradual process? I am likely to need quite a lot of Euro's for travel this year, so when I buy them could make a considerable difference to the £s I end up with!cheers!
