You are referring to ordering in special delivery bags and using them as ordinary mailers. I suspect they rather caught on to this rather dodgy practice, and really since bags are only a few pence each it doesn't seem worth doing it.
It looks untidy and I wonder if buyers would be happy to receive such parcels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You can still get them in some post offices - my po has them out free for the taking. But it's a fair amount of work to save 2 - 4p and technically against their rules.0

If you genuinely need them for special delivery then you can register with Royal Mail on their website. You can then order loads of mailing supplies including Special Delivery envelopes. You can also order Signed For/Customs etc... labels. I use the service regularly.
There is no charge and it is normally with you in a few days0 -

I was surprised how quickly my latest order came- I don't use special so can't comment on the bags, but my customs forms and airmail stickers were here in days. Strangely enough though they never ever manage to spell the name of the business right- yet the label is printed so must be generated somewhere.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
