Least Costly Car Insurance Break Fees

The plan is to head overseas for a while maybe 1/3rd to 1/2 of the way into my next car insurance year.

So other than quality and headline price, I'm interested in best level of refund when I break contract.

Anyone with experience of this situation?

    My broker charges £15 admin fee. And only wants £45 inc the fee to swap from a basic spec car to a more powerful top spec one. This is a week after taking out the policy.

    But unless you have the right car and dont live in certain postcodes they wont touch you.

    When getting the quotes you need to ask about cancellation charges.
