Hi all,
Got my first Bare pay today but it's not quite what I was expecting. Wondering if anyone here does Bare work and can explain.
Shop fee £19
Expenses £10.05
So I was expecting £29.05.
I received £23.02
My bank statement shows...
Bare Intl - Feburary 2015 EUR 32.58 @ 1.415 23.020 -
Their fees are in Euros. It has been converted into £. Sterling. The exchange rate isn't great at the moment if you're expecting Euros but if you want to go to the continent on hols the exchange rate is great.
They've probably paid you your full reimbursement in pounds but the actual fee would have been quoted in Euros, which they've converted to pounds.0 -

Thats the problem with Bare jobs, they quote in Euros and once it gets coverted by the bank at whatever the spot rate is at the time, you end up with less then what you may have first thought.0 -
Where I live visits are few and far between. MF only has trains, opticians and pubs which are middle of nowhere.
I have the Bare pizza collection one today. The brief is so much easier than the prev MS company they used as don't have to balance alternative slices on their sides for photos. Make sure you check that you don't have to flip the slices. Some of the scenarios still ask for that! (I said no thanks.)0 -

I have done the 'simple' scenarios before but now in my area they are asking to flip slices use specific knives, I'm gonna pass. Especially with the Euro being as weak as it is. Absolute pittance as if it wasn't a low fee beforehand.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Brief says take at least three of the pizza with sauce and spacer removed taken from looking over it with no flipped slices. Then the receipt with box stickers next to it.
My fee is doubled as its urgent.
Do I get the cost of the pizza in euros or GBP? It says I will be reimbursed for a medium pizza plus £1.17 tip. Would I have to tip them? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Matter of interest - are these Pizzza actually edible at the end of all this faffing abou?. I see that KFC (according to the documentary on TV) send their own staff to do spot checks to make sure stores are cooking their products to spec. Strikes me the end client could take a leaf out of their books, if they are so interested ensuring a standard product is delivered at each branch.0
