does anyone else get overwhelmed with paperwork. I just chucked out a load of briefs. I couldn't find them half the time and the info changes. I have tried to file the up to date ones. I still prefer paper to squinting at a phone screen to a certain extent.
How long to keep all the receipts? Half of them have faded.
thanks0 -
You must keep your records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year. HMRC may check your records to make sure you’re paying the right amount of tax.
As for non-receipt paperwork, I print next to nothing. A pdf on my ipad works for me.0 -
So glad to see that the pocket-slapping supermarket have ditched GR and moved to ESA. Nothing against GR, it's just that I love the fact that reports can be submitted via ESA's excellent mobile app. It's so much easier and more convenient.
Did a catalogue shop visit for GR yesterday and am happy with the fee for the amount of work needed. I do hope GR maintain clients in the future though, and don't go down the line of Retail Maxim, who struggle to keep clients. It's all about the report submission systems! The easier it is to submit a report, the more willing a shopper will be to do jobs for that respective company!
This is why I love GfK so much. Although they don't have an app, there's something about CyberShop I really like. Perhaps it's the really simple layout.0 -

I have been a shopper for a couple of years and just use Market Force and Gap Busters.
Can anyone recommend another good company please?

I've got a faulty clothing item from earlier in year doing a shop for MF. Do I need to mention it or could I go in and request a gift card, I don't want anything else. I feel annoyed that the stuff is poor quality and it takes ages to find anything i like0

Hello, I was wondering when Gapbuster pays? I contacted them and they seem to have 'some issues'. have not been paid for early April yet.0

personally I think MF is a bit cheeky as a company trying to promote businesses that dont do so well, retail or food. But you have the rights as a consumer as well. If you've spent your money and if an item is of poor quality you should be able to return it. Just dont mention 'mystery shopping', do it as an ordinary customer.0 -

They've gone through some erratic timings with payment in the past couple of years, but they have always got there in the end. The last 6 months or so have been good, but they seem to have become shaky again. It was the 7th last month.
Edit: Just noticed you said early April. You wont get that until late May / early June. They pay for one month at the end of the next, though sometimes it slips into the beginning of the following one.0 -

Hi Blutail I thought Gap paid a month in arrears? I am expecting March shop dates which according to their payment schedule should be banked today- not, or tomorrow?
