    Hi all.

I've never done a job for service measure before. When they say the assignment's budget/pay is (for example) £20, do I receive the full amount even if I spend less? Or is that the maximum and I get reimbursed only what I spend? This is a restaurant-type job.

    Thanks.

Knowing how tight they are with the £££ it will most likely be only what you spend.

I only tend to do their hotel jobs (which should be out today :) )

On the odd occasion I have done purchases it's up to the amount and only what you spend.

How do you know that the hotel jobs are out today (out of curiosity).:) I have done some too for SM with other things but because they are reimbursement only it is a slight worry.

3 pages of jobs still [or 1 big list if you Show all] (No hotels though)

I'm not sure if -as I have been with them for many years- I get a day or two early notice?

Depends on the job, the Highland Cafe jobs you get £20 but have a minimum spend, the rest you keep. The majority of them are you get back what you spend.

So if I do a dining visit that reimburses £50 AND pays a fee of £5, I have to tell the tax-man about the £5 only, but If I do one with no fee and a reimbursement of £20 I have to tell the tax-man about the £20? So it's nearly always better to just do ones that pay a small fee?
