Its the hanging around to do a return that puts me off.0

Has anyone done the MF local shop and are there any restrictions on the number you can do?
Would not normally bother, but can see a 'circuit' developing out in the sticks.
If they paid what RM paid for these jobs, they would shift. You need to be passing these on the way to make it anywhere at all feasible.0 -
There is alot to do, but the ones I can see, have got no fee against them. If it is the usual ridiculously low fee, then I can see them not shifting.
I have not done these visits for over a year, as IMHO the fee is too low and the briefs do scream you are a MS. Others must think similar as both the DIY chains and the tiles lurk on the board for weeks.
OMG now seen the fee for these jobs:eek: Who the bloody hell is going to do that lot for that fee. Can't wait for that lot to end up on a premium as they can't shift them.0 -
Yes the return is embarrassing but the later ones only seemed to involve an enquiry but still too rubbish imo.
yes did 1 local store which was fine and didn't mind as it was on the way home.0 -

Not even sure if they are worth doing on a circuit. 44p a mile and then the report time, you are in danger of loosing money and don't forget the money for printing the questionnaire.0

the other irritation with MF is that it appears that jobs are taken then released so they appear say at the weekend. I was in the area where the job is the previous day so I could have done it.
I have never released a job.0 -

That is half the issue with low fees, people treat them as low value jobs, if it's raining or you are running late why sweat on a couple of quid.0 -

Very true, so annoying - happens all the time round here! How are these people not booted off??
I know the MF 'scores' seem to be fairly meaningless, things like this just prove it!0
