The DD's have nothing to do with your home address0

thanks first time moving home and just wanted to make sure0

Some DDs would most likely be affected by a house move - such as your gas, water, electricity and council tax ones. You probably have to do a bit more than give your new address to most of these.0

i was living with parents before so all utilities are in there name and im setting up new ones its more my contract and i have a dd for an over payment of child tax credit aswel0

DD's are purely based on your account number and sort code so unless you change these then the DD's wont change.
Even if for some reason you were to change these then similar to the "account switching" process there is a facility for your bank to inform the companies collecting the DDs of the change and so you dont need to do anything but there is always a small risk of something going wrong.0 -
Don't forget if the originators rely on mail for notifying you of date and amount changes you'll not receive these if you don't update the address at their end.0
