SimplySwitch SimplyAwful. How about uSwitch then??
Like a number of Top Cashback users on MSE who've posted in the past of their experience at the hands of SimplySwitch, we too have been denied payment of the cashback which SimplySwitch offered as an inducement to use its alleged "service".
The switch occurred in November 2013 via the Top Cashback site but no explanation has been forthcoming about non-payment other than that SimplySwitch claim to have no record of the transaction despite us providing all the details to Top Cashback when it spent most of 2014 unsuccessfully chasing up the missing amount.
To judge from the number of complaints about SimplySwitch both on MSE and TopCashback's merchant review thread, it's clear that going anywhere near this bunch is inadvisable.
By contrast, we note that the Top Cashback user reviews about uSwitch are pretty much the exact opposite of the reviews for SimplySwitch. uSwitch seems rarely if ever to encounter the mysterious difficulties that plague poor old SimplySwitch to the extent that it finds itself repeatedly unable to pay out the cashback it promises even though it really, truly, genuinely, desperately wants to.
As we're about to switch again, I'd be interested to hear from any other MSErs who have used Top Cashback / uSwitch as to their experience -- thanks.
