HDMI cable for Samsung Galaxy tablet

Hi all,

The Samsung HDMI cable to connect between my Galaxy tab S and the TV costs about 30 quid.

any reason why this for 6 quid won't do the same job?

I bought one for my Samsung i9000 ,(genuine Samsung) long story , thought mine was a i93000 , if yes , PM me and I will put it in the post FOC

That cable looks to be Micro HDMI to Full Size HDMI - on OP's post..
but the Tab is likely to need mhl to full size HDMI.. like what freddy posted...
the connectors look quite similar...

The mhl to hdmi connector will also give a charger pass through - handy to charge whilst device is in use....

Mrs B has a Lenovo Yoga 10 - Android Tablet.
When I last enquired to an e bay seller about a cable he replied that the cable suitable for the Samsung (Galaxy?) tablet was not suitable for our Yoga

Was he right???
