Online letting agents - Easyproperty

Options
Has anyone used them, seems to loads around. I'm looking to add my property to let and looking at the two below, phoned around local agents and they want anywhere between £550 and £1000 just to find a tenant, seems a massive amount for not much work, any opinions appriccated.

I would be interested to. The reviews on their own site are mixed. Thinking about letting to my local council but sure they will offer much lower than if I found tenants by other means.
I will def watch this space.

They're online, so guess who does the leg work?....

As for renting to the council. You get reasonable rates and whilst you cant choose who's in, the rent will be paid always and they'll put right anything that goes wrong (tenant damage)

Haven't used EP but did use Makeurmove last summer to get tenants.

I only needed a Right Move listing as the house was in fab condition and sold itself. I wasn't going to pay a High St parasite 7% odd for posting an ad on RM.

In the end, Makeurmove had a free introductory offer so they cost me nothing. I got an EPC an floorplan from somewhere else for around £250 I think and posted them on the RM ad.

    Saved a packet.

I plan to use EasyProperty - the Easy companies seem to (overall...) end up providing not-bad service at not-bad prices. And my son worked on their current advert..

I've used UPAD for rental properties a couple of times, basically just to get the advert onto Gumtree/Zoopla/Rightmove etc etc etc..

Fairly easy to work with, if a little arrogant thinking they understood the law (they didn't).
