Default date and drop off date

Hi guys
Just after a bit of advice, I have a defaulted account with Nat west. I was aware of this and have contacted them and they can't find my details and say account was sold, I lost all my details.
My question is: When will this drop off my report?
The date of default is 30-10-09
Will it be 6 years from this date? 30-10-15??
Thanks

Yes, 6 years from the recorded default date.
Experian and Callcredit drop them 6 years to the day, while Equifax can take several weeks to take them off but no more.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
