Hi.. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.. (Please move it if it is)
Would very much like to become a debt counsellor.. can anyone point me in the right direction please?
What qualifications should i look into taking?
Is there a "debt counsellor's register / society" that could give me more info?
Sorry if questions seem a bit vague but not sure where to start!!!

Wouldn't know what direction to point you into but would like to wish you good luck. I myself am looking into a change of career. I'm currently a postman but the way the job is going i'm getting fed up with it. Sent off for some info on Book-keeping & may look into doing that, although i will keep my options open & get some info on other careers. I take the inspiration from my Uncle who started his career as an HGV driver & is now a college lecturer. Not that there's anything wrong with being a postie or lorry driver, but his family's quality of life is alot better now & i would like my family's quality of life to improve.Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028.
