Excess insurance for car hire

Hi there
I have used moneymaxim to search for an excess insurance policy and have been provided with quotes from only two insurance companies. The first worldwideinsure.com and the second icarhireinsurance.
I tried emailing worldwideinsure but the email bounced back. This got me worried that it might not be a legitimate company. Has anyone used either of these companies before, can you confirm that they are legitimate, or can you tell me how I can check?
Thank you

Whats causing you to only get two quotes back?
There are many sellers of car hire excess insurance (see https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=car+hire+insurance) though they are virtually all intermediaries just selling a rebadged version of an insurers product.0 -
Thank you, though I'm not a uk resident I live in Bermuda, most do not cover you if you're not resident to uk.
Any advice would be very helpful!0 -

I think you might find it difficult, in general you would take out the insurance in your own country to cover hire car use in that country or elsewhere, but if such a market doesn't exist in Bermuda I wouldn't be surprised to find that you can't get it in the UK. In which case you'll have to decide whether to risk having to pay the excess if you do have an accident or take out the hire company's own cover.0
