    I'll tell you what I do. The only time I bother with spread sheets is Advent competition time. It takes me a year to recover from typing them all in.
    So, I invest in 2 diaries (combined price of £1.50) and have a day to view one to mark off how many comps I do in a day - you know, the old 4 lines and then a diagonal to make a gate (good old 2nd years maths) I tot them up every day and then add them up on Sunday night.
    And a pocket diary to write in all my wins - two so far this year, and to use it so I don't forget about a win, basically keep tabs until it turns up, or go by the date to chase it up IYSWIM.
    I've kept my pocket diaries from 2011 so I can flick through and use them as inspiration. There are some nice memories in them tbh.

    I count by using the 4 lines and a bar too :)
    Small notebook fits 10 of those in a column.
    20 columns on each page = 1000 comps done.

    so you do physically do a tally next to you after entering a comp?
    2025 Wins ::
    *Gok Wan Ultimate Mummy Makeover - Jan2025
    *P&O 2 Week Caribbean Cruise - March 2025
    *£500 TOG24 voucher - April 2025
  • Some of the comping groups on FB have documents where you can add your winnings. One of them is doing a £2015 for 2015 one that i've signed up for. I never really kept track of what I won last year but I think I would of completed the £2014 for 2014 challenge. :j

    Yes. .. I always push myself to do at least 100 a day and actually aim for 200.

    I only count Mag dailies and Click to wins the once, on the first time I enter them though, so I probably do a lot more than my written tally.

    tab counter https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-counter/ simple easy way to know how many tabs open, which in turn as I only comps I'm interested gives me a tally, I usually open 50/100 at a time, tab counter will sit under the red close page box.
