Thinking of switching electricity and gas suppliers but wondering if I should leave it for a couple of weeks for oil price to feed through.

  • i was going to wait to see what the other of the big 6 were going to do regarding cuts, but I switched yesterday from SP to Eon v.14 and will be saving £85 , was too good to turn down, if on the other hand something else comes up in the weeks/months ahead that's even cheaper I can always just switch again, as its only a £5 exit fee

just do a comparison and if the savings are big and theres no exit fee, then switch now, as it will give u option later down the road to move again should something come along

The Scottish Power February 2016 deal is the best available for many people at the moment and it has the advantage that you can switch away from it without a penalty.
  • was only £35 cheaper for me, whereas eon v1.4 was £85, was kinda of a no brainer for me, for now at least

it's always the right time to switch if it's cheaper.
