Hi there,
I have recently had to go into debt management (won't bore you with my sob story) but i am hoping to claim back some charges from my natwest account.
I am filling out the template letter provided on this website and there is a section to provide how much you would like to claim back, but i don't actually know how much i was charged? I can no longer access the account as I have gone into debt management and the account is now part of that. Is there a way I can find out the totals?
Thanks in advance

Remember that the guide on this site is out of date.
You dont put a figure in. You ask them to refund charges giving your reasons for financial hardship.I can no longer access the account as I have gone into debt management and the account is now part of that.
If you have gone into a management plan then it can work against you as you are no longer in financial hardship. The management plan may include suspension of charges and even interest and that is one of the hardship options available (rather than refunding charges).
Forget putting amounts in. Focus on your circumstances and the hardship you are suffering (arrears, defaults, unable to pay bills, whatever event that caused hardship etc).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). thanks very much, i will definitely do that.
Natwest also made a huge mistake when one of their agents told me my account was still accessable when a payment was made in error to it (from my boss) and said the payment would be returned when it wasnt. I then had to spend two hours on the phone to them while they basically refused to refund it (although they did in the end). This caused me a lot of stress art work and has put my job in jeopardy as my boss now thinks i tried to steal from her and was just found out. Would this reason be something that could be included?0
