Why do you think the latest boom is any different?

QE - you can't just create money without consequences down the road.

Let's hope the price of gold continues to rise... :D

    Why's that?

Surely as a regular buyer you'd want the price to decrease?

Firstly we have had QE for years without inflation, and it is much easier to tackle inflation when a central bank holds a substantial amount of assets.

Secondly, what does QE have to do with the price of gold? The UK hasn't had the gold standard for 70 years, and any chart of gold over the last 30 years will show that the gold price and inflation have little if any correlation. Unless you want to invest over 1000 years, then owning gold is just speculative and within 10 years the price could be anywhere.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

I believe that you are spamming sovinvest.
A poster who recently registered on HPC forum as Tom321 has also mentioned sovinvest as well. I have also reported my concerns to the moderators.
