Donor accounts - which bank?

Hi I would like to open a "donor account" in anticipation of switching soon - probably to First Direct, so that I can start using their regular saver. I currently use Halifax for day-to-day banking (£5 reward) I switched to M&S from Co-op for the £125, but have now opened a regular saver with them, so need to keep this I…

I haven't encountered a problem yet. I have no debt and use a cashback credit card (for everything paid in full every month). Mortgage is always paid on time with static overpayments. My current credit score is very good if you believe the scoring. ;-)
