Is this enough time to complete contracts & missives?

Hi all
I have no idea about how long it takes to complete C&Ms. My situation is basically last weekend I had a mortgage agreed by Clydesdale bank and I paid a reservation with Taylor Wimpey for a part exchange, as part of this I have to complete C&Ms within 28 days. Essentially this means that from now I have around 3 weeks to do this, in this time my bank has still to do a valuation survey of the house and I have to go back in to the bank for what I assume is a more formal application where I have to pay my arrangement fee (again I do not know how long this takes for the loan offer to be fully finalised). I also have to arrange a solicitor (which I can do this weekend) but my concern is if there is a bit of back and forward with clauses in the contract (I have heard bad things about TW part ex contracts). So my question is basically is 3 weeks enough time for this?
I have added complication in that my mortgage advisor is off work next week and I am working away the week after so there is a very real chance I could be trying to do all this in 1 week.
Any help is much appreciated
thank you
