Thanks for joining ChallengeTheFine.

You're really important in making this work. Do whatever you can to get this in front of others, because they're likely to be part of the 12 million people whose information has been sold on by the DVLA. Encourage your friends and family to sign up, even if they have lost nothing. They might know someone who has.

If you're serious about standing up to the DVLA and getting money out of it, then you'll do this. I can't do everything by myself!

There are no free lunches. This is as close as it gets, because sharing costs nothing.

If there are not enough people to represent, the legal challenge cannot happen. Encourage others to join.

He's rocking along now, in recent days his sign-up rate has soared to more than 1,000 a day.

i would attach the Google analytics panel screenshot but I can't navigate MSE's forum interface

but on the other hand I have nothing to prove here – either people can back it or not. they have nothing to lose and I've set out my argument enough times.

people initially said I would struggle to get 1,000...

It's OK Mike, I believe you really. You are galloping along now at a rate of what must be 10,000 per week - and still on an upward curve! You'll be there by the end of Feb at this rate.

It's possible. Much more likely is that the target will be reached before the Beavis judgment is handed down.

28,500 now, this is starting to get impressive.

Well done Mike, keep going. A few people have tried to get petitions going on Change.org to stop the DVLA selling our data, but only ever managed to scrape together a few hundred. You now have 28,500 who would willingly sign. Respect!
